Dorset Art Weeks is one of the largest open studio events in the country. It brings together many different artists from across Dorset to talk and engage with the public about their work.
It has been quite a few years since I last took part in DAWS. This year felt like the right time to throw open my doors and welcome you to browse and talk about my current work.
With such a difficult year it has been so fantastic to have an event to look forward too.
I have chosen to go bright and colourful spending many hours looking at amazing tropical fish, birds, insects and flowers in my books.
Over the last few months I have been creating some new and exciting tropical inspired sgraffito ceramic pieces for this event. There will be vessels and wall hangings covered in anemones, crabs, seahorses and octopus as well as hummingbirds, orchids, tree frogs and geckos.
A new series of giclee prints will also be on show.
These works will be available to buy in person or through my online shop.
My studio will be open from 10am-4pm every day from Saturday the 22nd May - Sunday 6th June.
